Flapper Style Bows & Hats

Though these hats appear more suited to accessorize a Halloween Flapper Girl costume (check out Kim Kardashian’s Halloween outfit from this year), these vintage-inspired hats and bows are fastly becoming popular streetwear accessories! You could wear your flapper-style hat or bow with a sleeveless dress, a simple demure top, or wear one to add flair to leather skinny pants and high-heeled ankle boots.

Of all the flapper era-inspired accessories of the season – including cocktail rings, long dinner gloves, and faux fur cropped jackets – a flapper-style hat is something I’d totally wear. I’d personally combine the velvet flapper clip above (middle, from ASOS.com) with a mesh top layered over a sleeveless tank, with the aforementioned leather skinny pants and heeled ankle boots, and all in black for a chic, monochromatic look for vintage-meets-modern appeal.
