Do I even have to explain this one? Aerosmith's frontman defined rockstar style for a generation. The scarves around the mic stand, the faded rock shirts, the torn jeans, the messy hair, the headbands, the unorthodox choices in jewelry (feathers, beaded pieces, chunky rings), the occasional lack of shirt.... Now that I think about it, Steven Tyler and I dress very similarily. Or we would, if I were flat-chested. Oh to dream.

Mmm, mmm, mmm, Adam Levine definitely makes it harder to breathe. The lead singer of Maroon 5's style is effortless, classy, and quintessentially "Los Angeles" - his look is a look I grew up with; the way the boys around me dressed, a sort of style I take cues from. Very casual, very city-influenced, and very basic. He's got this sexy way of dressing up everyday pieces, and I loves it.

Andre 3000, baby. Over the top, outlandish, colorful, bold, and sexy, Andre "3000" Benjamin of Outkast is always put together and his outfits always make a statement. He's not afraid to mix classic with new (golf meets the '70s) and not afraid of bright colors, patterns, prints, and textures, and he's ace at layering (rarely caught without a vest). Known to hang out at fashion shows or Parisian textile factories, he takes fashion very seriously: he just launched his own menswear line, Benjamin Bixby. I'm going to pout until he launches one for women.... At least handbags or shoes, Andre, please?

Lenny "Sex on A Stick" Kravitz is from Brooklyn, but he doesn't show his city roots in his style the way Levine does. He is pure rock n' roll, fashion, and glamour, with a myriad of religious and gospel undertones. Leather, suede, distressed jeans, boots, dark sunglasses and lots of skin are some of his signature pieces, along with masculine statement jewelry. His influences tend to run the gamut from motorcycle to '70s to effiminate, but he pulls them all together, and baby, it works.
