Fashionistas Flock to the House of Berardi!

Here it is… the inside scoop on one of New York's fashion darlings, designer Alexander Berardi

                              Selby Drummond & Bee Shaffer

Let’s be honest:  you know your collection is white haute when you are garnering the attention of the Queen Bee.  Nope, we’re not talking about Blair, although we would give anything to see little Miss Waldorf checking out designer threads.  We are referring to fashion royalty, Bee Shaffer (you guessed it, Anna Wintour’s daughter).  She was on hand with gal pal and New York socialite Selby Drummond to take in the couture line of the House of Berardi.  Talk about getting the in-crowd in your front row!

For this runway show, guests were literally taken to a downtown courthouse.  This unconventional venue was brimming with eco-friendly fabrics that, according to the designer, incorporate a youthful elegance that is directly tailored to his clientele.  The line seamlessly blended a modernist feel with historical elements.  And as for all of the beautiful fashion (trust us, there was plenty of it) and perfect silhouettes, we loved it all. However, we must confess that were busy being a little starstruck. We just felt like we were in the middle of a GG episode!  Actually, now that we think about it, all we have to say is this…. xoxo!

Is that really Namia? She looks so skinny - so much better then she did n the show. Good for her!

Thank you for writing a piece about Bee Shaffer -- she is so lucky to be Anna's daughter. Bee truly is a real life Blair or Serena. And that designer is pretty cute too!

I'm such a Top Model nerd -- the first thing I noticed is that one of the models is Naima.
