Mmm mmm mmm, it's fall again, which means it's time to trade in my flip-flops for something with a bit more substance. Booties or boots? Heels or flats? Sexy or sophisticated? I'll take all of the above, thanks. The new fall collections are out and they are to die for, boasting romance, bows, ribbons, jewel tones, and just enough attitude. I want every single pair I've seen so far, but here are a few of my favorites that are sure to be insta-classics:

As much as you love or hate Paris Hilton, you've got to admit she knows shoes. These suede-and-satin beauties are from her new collection, and wearing 'em is sure to get you noticed even if you don't have any discernable talent. Tattoo Your Attitude
 

Booties are back in and Betsey's done it again, with these ridiculously awesome "I can totally beat you in an arm wrestling contest" ankle boots. Love the gloss, love the length, love the attitude. Knee-Deep in Love

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for slouchy boots, especially sans heels. These take the cake though, with their hidden detail in the back. You might see me wearin' them and think "just your typical fall-trend slouchy ankle boot," then bam! Comin' at you with the bow detail as I walk away. A total steal at $49.95...
