The first option, pictured above, is the classic menswear suit. By cuffing the boyfriend-cut trouser pants, adding flats with ribbon ties, layering belts, and pops of color, the look is instantly updated into something trendier and more feminine. Layering belts at the natural waist keeps the cut from being too boxy and large and draws attention to your curves. Allowing feminine shoes to show by cuffing the pants lets the girly side stand out.

This look is much more laid back than the first. By wearing a menswear blazer open, it creates a more casual and less stuffy look. A fun floral blouse and beads combined with the high waisted menswear shorts give it a great touch of girly glam. The high waisted shorts also draw attenion to the waist and create curves. Again, shoes with ultra feminine details work best.

The third look is completely 1980s-sportswear-inspired. The slouchy men's jacket worn open with fresh and fun accessories keep the look from being too feminine or too masculine. While the sheer top and white pants definitely aren't menswear, the purple sneakers are masculine enough in style to balance out both the outfit and their own color.
Marc by Marc Jacobs perfectly nailed the updated menswear trend for this spring. By adding in pops of color and feminine accessories, you can easily balance out the look and create something amazing.
