3 Must-Have Fall Trends

Hey there to our favorite Fall loving fashionistas.  Are you busy wondering what styles you should be wearing this season?  Not to worry, we've got 3 can't-miss trends that absolutely must be in your wardrobe....

1. Vintage-Inspired Glamour with Nanette Lepore

We are wild for this dressed up frock that casually goes from day to night without skipping a beat.  The cummerbund detail absolutely makes this ensemble that is big on vintage flair with inverted pleats.  The structured pleats accentuate the ease of this dress and speak to movement and flow with the perfect cut.  The square neck is beautifully flattering for every body type.

2. Take a Bow with Marc by Marc Jacobs

This cotton twill bow dress is big on style with bold details that are innately feminine, yet still demure and innocent.  A Peter Pan stitched-down collar lends a fairytale-esque quality to a simple silhouette. This bow trend was seen all over the catwalk, and it translates well from runway to reality.

3. It's Pinwheel Time with 3.1 Phillip Lim

The 3.1 Phillip Lim Pinwheel Dress cleverly styled pleats to softly drape over the body in a roundhouse effect. These pinwheel pleats add dimension and volume to create a silhouette that is stunning for a fabulous Fall wardrobe.

I completely disagree with the last post. If you actually watch the runway trends (I am a Frontal Fashion junkie) all of these dresses are awesome. Now, not every trend looks good on every body type. And even though these pieces are RTW, they are still high fashion. So, yes, you have to pick and chose which trend is right for you. But, a square cut neckline is certainly one of the most flattering out there. And as for that pinwheel dress. I adore it!! And you need confidence to wear that bow dress, but that's why it is a statement piece. It's Marc Jacobs, and it rocks!

All three of these dresses are unattractive and unflattering! The pinwheel dress makes the model look boxy and square -- and with the high neckline, she looks stuffy and prude. The bow dress is also unflattering -- the large bow at the waist/hip area makes a normal woman's hips and waist appear much wider than what they really are, and shortens the leg. Instead, go for a shirtdress with shape to the sleeves to balance out a large bow tied just ABOVE the waist to give the effect of a slimmer torso and longer legs. The first dress is just ok ... it generally flatters people, but the square neckline may not flatter very large or small figures and if you have a decent figure, don't go for a dress with inverted pleats -- go with a more flowy design or princess seams.

I really like the pinwheel dress, too. It has such a simple, elegant design. The Nanette Lepore dress is pretty and looks like it would flatter most figures. But I can't imagine that bow dress looking good on anyone but a model. In fact, it even looks fussy and bulky on the model. Maybe if they designed the bow down to a much smaller size, it might work.

These fall trends are super cute, and I really love that pinwheel dress! 3.1 Phillip Lim always turns out the most amazing clothing.
