Some of the trendiest ways to wear a belt this spring are unexpected.
Several styles of belts are going to be big this spring! From thick to thin, basic colors to brights, and worn with dresses or pants, belts are a must -have accessory. Read on for some style tips for each style.
Thick belts: Try wearing them at your natural waist. They also balance out the look of a lot of layers. The problem with wearing a lot of long, loose layers is that you can loose your curves and end up looking sloppy. By using a thick belt, it cuts down on the bulk of the layers and defines your waist, making the overall look cute and not frumpy.

Thin Belts: These belts are great for when you are wearing simple and chic outfits, like the Little Black Dress pictured on the right. They can make the fit of the item that much better by defining your waist, and also add a bit of edge to your look.

Super Thin Belts: Personally, I think that super thin belts are a great way to add a pop of color to your look. You can go very simple and plain, like in the picture on the left, with basic colors but the vibrant belt really makes a statement. Plus, they are great worn at your natural waist or on your hips.

Belts With Details: These types of belts are great because they double as accessories. By going with a bold belt with detail, like the bow belt pictured on the right, you can keep the rest of your look simple and clean.

Basic Belts : Everyone needs a basic and plain leather belt in their closet for everyday wear. This is no exception this spring! These basic belts work best with jeans.

I love belts, and always wear them around the waist. Basically any outfit looks better with a belt around the waist!
Love Belts! These are a must have accessory for Spring. They are the easiest way to liven up an outfit.
Think about what you wore to work last week, how many of those outfits could have used a chic belt?
Love it, great post!
So, are we wearing tops tucked into pants again with belts? It seems like there's been a no-tucking-in trend for a while now.
