Why fill in the eyebrows?

I feel like every beauty blog says, "define your brows!" But I really don't understand why. It doesn't seem to make them look any different?

The below comment definately is a perfect example! With brow shaping and filling, the whole face seems more put together - the eyebrows can really frame the whole face beautifully.

I am a blonde and tint my eyebrows and lashes, but I also color them in with brow powder. Here's the difference on me without brow powder and with: no eyebrowseyebrows
