What colors besides purple go with brown eyes?

gold & bronzy colours, greens, shimmery greys & blacks for 'smokey eyes' look. Browns can wear many colours!

i love blues and greens...but brown eyes can pretty much pull off anything

You are so lucky because brown eyes work with any color! If you have flecks of another color, definitely try to play them up. Take advantage of being able to use colors, like blue or green, that are harder with other eye colors.

People with brown eyes(depending on the colored flecks in the iris) can pretty much get away with any color! Look in the mirror and see what color flecks you have: yellow, use purple; orange/gold, use blue; green, use reds/pinks/corals

I have brown hair & brown eyes and been wondering the same thing. So i did some experimenting and found that a medium gray shadow with navy blue in the outside crease really makes my brown eyes pop. I just tried it on a whim and now it's my favorite look! I use MAC shadows in Scene for the gray, and Plumage for the navy blue. Hope that helps. I'd also love to hear what other people suggest for brown eyes!
