What are the nail trends for Fall 2008?

I'm a nail tech and we just got our fall/winter line in. Definitely dark puples and blues. The gunmetal gray is very popular! Last year all the dark polishes were flat (no shimmer) this year all of the new ones have a slight shimmer to them, which is a great change!

This fall, definitely ditch the pinks, oranges, etc. Chocolate browns and deep purples are this seasons favorites.

Of course, wines, berries and deep reds are always fashionable. =) But, this year, I'm seeing a lot of grey. Steel and Gunmetal colors, as well as more matte shades. Deep navy blues and plums seem to be at the top of the list as well.
