I recently bought a pair of dark denim trousers (more pants than jeans) that have a sharp crease in the legs. Should I machine wash it and risk losing the crease? Or should I have it dry cleaned? They look similar to the slacks in this picture. gp395289-00p01v01.jpg (9.32 KB)

it doesn't matter just make sure u read the tag on tha pants or shirt read carefully and then descide. but wen u wash your denim turn them inside out and use the rite detergent that brightens colors, if you don't want the faded look turn to the gentle cycle. If u are looking for the rugged vintage look do watever you want because vintage is still in, but don't go too vintage cuz u don't wanna match a construction worker with a hard hat on!
I have similar denim trousers and I machine wash them, but as infrequently as possible. As soon as they're done, I hang them upside down by the hems, folded to reinforce the crease. This seems to help a lot. I haven't done it yet, but I plan to just get out the ol' ironing board if the crease starts to get lost.
maybe alternate-when I was in high school I worked at a dry cleaners and over time the chemical they use damages the clothes(they start to 'disenegrate" ...or maybe take them to the cleaners and just have them laundry and press them.
