I have very light eyebrows that I've never shaped before. I've plucked them to clean them up but that's it. I'm worried if I pluck them they'll look nonexistent.

threading is the best way to go. it cleans up your eyebrows nicely and the proffessional doing it follows your natural arch. plus it lasts longer than waxing or plucking and it really doesn't hurt.
in carmindy's book "the five minute face" there is a whole section on how to shape your eyebrows, its really detailed and shows pictures and the steps to take to find the natural shape of your brows. i definitely recommend the book, it's worth it for just that one chapter but im sure you will get alot out of the other chapters too. its my favorite makeup book, i dont know what i would do without it!
Hrm I guess I'll go to a salon then. I was hoping to do it myself but better safe than sorry.
Thanks!
when getting your eyesbrows done go for the natural look find your natural arch or ask a pro. Shaping your eyes is just taking away any excess hair around your arch. never take off too much u don't wanna look like a drag unless that's look your going 4. Remember waxing and plucking can lead to little bumps like razor bumps depending on your sensitivity and overtime if you keep plucking and waxing your eyebrows will thin out and the hair won't grow back.
i think threading is much better then waxing. if you can take waxing on other parts of your body then eye brow threading is a piece of cake for you.but then again thats my opnion and thats what i prefer "threading" i thread my own eye brows. Logicalharmony is right about getting it done from the salon first and then do on ur own
For your first shaping, I think it's best to go into a nice salon and get an eyebrow wax. Explain that you simply want them shaped and don't want them to do anything else without consulting you first. The professionals usually do an amazing job. They can really look at your face shape and angles of your brows in ways that you can't do. You can keep it up yourself at home with tweezers later. I get mine waxed once or twice a year to keep the shape clean and pluck at home in between.
