How often should you / do you cut / trim your hair?

That's so interesting! I don't know about once a month...but when I get it cut, I'll make sure to do it on the right day now.

I used to just wait till mine got so crazy it pissed me off, then I'd book an appointment and have to wait even longer to take care of it. Now I'm prebooked with my stylist every 8 weeks for cut and color for the next year! I don't have to think about it, and it gives me something to look forward to (and keeps my hair looking its best).

I get it trimmed every 5 to 6 weeks. Any longer than that, and the ends get dry, which makes my hair extra-frizzy.

I learned many years ago from an "old-school" hairdresser that if you want your hair to be full and beautiful, as well as grow faster than you can believe, trim it each month on the day of the New Moon. Some say this is just an old wives tale, but my daughter and I have always done this and we both have long, beautiful hair. I have also done it with my four grand-daughters and my husband, James, and they all have long beautiful hair, also. Try it for a few months. You won't believe the difference it makes.

honestly, i only trim my hair hen it needs to be and when i want to rock the bangs,lol
