Last week, I experienced a not-as-brief-as-I-wanted-it-to-be episode of Puff Evilness, where my eyes were virtually squeezed out and replaced with what looked like two skin-colored airbags.

The only silver lining was learning how to tap out eyebags with my own two fingers, which is my new favorite trick that works so well, and so instantly, I've since been on a self-massage craze. Turns out, I could have hopped onto this bandwagon years ago - there are tons of DIY massages you can do easily on your own. Thus, I have turned my bathroom into Jenny's House of Massage...For Jenny Only.
I came across this circulating-boosting, lymph-draining (still think that's a gross way of putting it, but whatever), radiance-enhancing massage trick. For extra no-puff magic, there's even a special recipe for massage oil that banishes the face-bloat.
1 oz oil (I used Neutrogena's Body Oil. It's available at drugstores and smells great on its own)
1 oz. almond oil
1 capsule evening primrose
8 drops chamomile
4 cypress oil (Hard to find, so I subbed in eucalyptus oil)
2 drops rose oil
STEP ONE
Using the pads of your first and middle fingers, start between the brows and massage outwards towards your temples, stopping at the top of your eyebrow arch, then again at the end of your eyebrow, pressing firmly. Repeat this step a few more times.
STEP TWO
Slide your fingers down the sides of your nose, stopping to press gently between the eyes and at the corners of your nose.
STEP THREE
Put your fingers under your cheekbones and massage your way to your ears, stopping along the cheekbones to press firmly (like you did for your brows). Repeat a few times.
STEP FOUR
Holding your skin around your eyes slightly taut with one hand, use the ring finger of your other hand to massage lightly around the orbital bone of your eye. Make three circles all the way around each eye, in each direction (hint: extra oil keeps your fingers from yanking on your skin. Bonus: Bye bye fine lines!)
STEP FIVE
Holding your mouth slightly taut the way you did with your eye, massage around your mouth in a circle, then stop and switch directions.
STEP SIX
With your first two fingers, press firmly under each nostril and hold.
STEP SEVEN
Finish up by repeating Step Three on your cheeks.
Ahhh! There. And if you're me, Step Eight is: Go take a nap.
