Ooh La La - Chanel Kaleidoscope Nail Colour

Chanel has done it again in breaking out a cult-worthy, must-have nail polish shade. This season, turn your fancy to Kaleidoscope.

When I spotted Chanel Nail Colour in Kaleidoscope in October’s issue of Allure, I had a “can’t breathe” moment. Kaleidoscope is a stunning metallic green, full of silvery shimmer. This chameleon color flexes between gold and silver in different lighting, and takes edgy to a new level of sophistication. Dark colors will always have a place on my nails – I was a non-goth, black polish wearing, fashion forward high schooler – but this sparkler stands out after years of Vamp, Lincoln Park after Dark, Black Satin, and Yoga-ta Get This Blue.

From the first glance, images of glittery holiday parties come to mind. Kaleidoscope will rock any soiree – from glam parties to punk rock concerts to the after hours lounge. And, of course, pump up your everyday casual style. Apparently, I’m not the only one this polish made a huge impression on. The limited edition shade has already been known to be hard to find, and marked up on eBay. If you find yourself out of luck, look for a comparable alternative in Essie’s Steel-ing the Scene. And cross fingers that OPI comes out with a similar shade or that Chanel makes Kaleidoscope a permanent fixture in their collection.

Do you “die” (a little bit of Rachel Zoe for ya) for Kaleidoscope? What’s your personal pick for the latest IT nail color?

Love the Chanel Kaleidoscope! Stunning! I also really dig the new Resuce Beauty Lounge colors...particularly the Bruised, which sounds gross but looks majorly chic on the nails!
