New Makeup From CoverGirl!

CoverGirl has these great new eye shadows out called Eye Enhancers. They are sold as single shadows or in kits of 3 or 4 colors. The cool thing is, the colors are bold, but they can be worn bold or more sheer, so you can mix it up depending on your mood or the occasion!

I love to use a small liner brush and wear these eye-popping colors as eye liners. If you apply a cream pencil in a similar shade, then go over it with the CoverGirl Eye Enhancers formulas--you’ll get long-lasting wear and eyes that turn heads. I have brown eyes and have been using the shades from Blazing Blues 117 on my lids and the Kaboom Kelly 430 as a liner. I saw a CoverGirl makeup artist do several looks with the new Eye Enhancers and she often layered the colors in the 3 and 4 color kits over one another which makes for a less intense look than if you use each shadow alone. If you are looking for majorly intense color, wet your eye shadow applicator then dip into the product. Don’t forget to prime the lid area first: it will help your shadow hang on for dear life. Check out this face chart showing which colors were used where:

I am also obsessed with the new CoverGirl Wetslicks AmazeMint Lipgloss. Freedom of Peach and Positive Pink are faves of mine. This gloss provides the right amount of color without being pasty or sticky (an outstanding feat!) and it makes your teeth look brighter, and, as if all that were not enough, peppermint oil gives you fabulous breath!

When cosmetics offer beautiful colors and prices that are easy on the wallet, that, for me, is a match made in heaven!!

I love these SO much! I've been trying to find bright eyeshadows I can wear and not look like Mimi from the Drew Carey Show (everyone remembers her clown-ish look). Well here they are and I hope they stay!

I just bought the CG eyehancers single e/s in Lime Alive and I was drawn to the flashy color but it's a little too dry for me and you really have to pack it on your brush, but it's subtle and I think most people would go for that look as opposed to bam! in your face lime, so it's a great buy!
