One of the standout looks from the 2008 Emmy Awards red carpet last night belonged to Eva Longoria-Parker. Even in the sweltering heat, Eva managed to look fabulously flawless, rockin' a seductive, smoky eye.

I usually think that Eva's hair and makeup is all wrong. They pile the foundation and bronzer on her so that you can't see her skin at all, and her eyes are always obscured by ridiculous amounts of gloppy mascara and dark shadow. Also, her hair usually looks flat to me.
Then I saw the cover of Allure for November. You've got to check it out. Makeup artist Stephane Marais finally got her right. Her skin looks so natural and pretty, and her eyes, well, the makeup is still a bit heavy but it looks so much more clean and fresh. And her hair has great body just enough volume. She looks so young and beautiful. I hope that she sticks with this look.
I loved Eva's look at the Emmy's :)
