5 Products With Names I Love

1.  Dr. Feelgood.  As primers go, this isn’t the best I’ve ever used.  But a product that naturally sparks bathroom karaoke of, “He’s the one that makes you feel allll-right” at 6 am makes me wanna rat my hair, pile on blue eyeliner, and have myself a bitchin’ day.

2.  MAKE UP FOR EVER.  This is cheating since it’s not a product; it’s an entire brand.  But it became my new favorite when I found out insiders call it MUFE (pronounced MOO-fee).  MUFE MUFE MUFE.  How’s that for fun to say?  I’d like to be a MUFE girl.  Maybe even the queen of MUFE.  In fact, I’d buy a goldfish just to name it MUFE.

3.   Clinique Black Honey.  The Park Avenue Princess brand came up with a name that sounds less like a tinted gloss and more like either a Rolling Stones song or a reference to illegal recreational substances (or possibly both).  I’m golf-clapping and cheering (using my inside voice) both this plucky little name and the lipstick itself—it really is fabulous gloss.

4. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Liner.   I don’t need products to last 24/7.  I don’t lead that kind of lifestyle.  But I like that Urban Decay thinks that I do, and even goes so far as to make a liner for my fabulous, model-booking actor-dating yacht-vacationing lifestyle.  Thanks, Urban.  Please send another box of lip liner to my private jet in hangar 12 before I leave for Ipanema.

5. L’Occitane.  Just saying this makes me feel like some prissy Italian countess swanning around Europe for precious and rare beauty consumables like virgin’s blood, gypsy rocks and the highly prized l’Occitane.  So it’s scented hand lotion and not some poncey elixir in a gold-encrusted tube.  The stuff works and a girl can always dream, can’t she?

I know it is a favorite of a lot of people, but I've always been a fan of the Nars blush Orgasm. You can't get any more to the point with that name. :-)
