There. Now that you've already committed it to your favs folder, I've got to warn you that this site is not pretty. It's covered in banner ads. It has tabs that were probably created when the site launched in 1998. There is a picture of Reese Witherspoon with that guy she divorced a bazillion years ago. But if you want to know everything there is to know about hair - from extensions to dreadlocks to cuts to copying celeb styles to figuring out and caring for the texture of your hair - this is your digital depot. In other words, if it's hair, it's here.
I lost about two solid hours to this site just researching celeb hairstyles that best match my look, color and texture.

I then performed a search by color/texture/style/length/celeb/gender/face shape (see? Endless), for my best hair matches:
Ok. Not all the picks are winners.

Where the site really shines is the articles and how-tos. For example, if you're thinking of trying a major color change on your own, they'll walk you through it. If you want to know the difference between conditioners (pre-treatment, rinse-out, express, deep ) this is your place. Or, if you're ready to try out hair extensions, here's where you can first learn what types are out there, what to look for, and what to avoid.
If you can overlook the, "Did my grandma build this website?" feeling and the smattering of outdated celeb photos, this site is like knowing a best girlfriend (who has been there/done that ) plus stylist, all rolled into one.
