Move along folks, there's nothing to sea hair: How to master tousled, beachy waves in a snap

You don’t need to spend a day at the beach to get super sexy loose, tousled waves. In fact, whether your hair is fine and straight, wavy, or curly, you can achieve the look in just a few simple steps.

Fine, straight hair

1. Wash and condition hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner

2. Spray towel-dried hair with a volumizer and comb through to ends

3. Twist 2-inch sections of hair into pin curls on your head, securing each piece to your head with a bobby pin

4. Let hair air dry or blow dry. Remove pins and use your fingers to comb through waves

5. Spray hair with a light hold hair spray

Naturally wavy hair

1. Wash and condition hair with a frizz control shampoo and conditioner

2. Spray towel-dried hair with a beach hair styling product

3. Flip your head over and blow dry hair, scrunching continuously until dry

4. Wrap 3-inch sections of hair around a large barrel curling iron, leaving the ends out

5. Loosen curls into waves with your fingers, and apply a styling wax to the ends to create a piecey look

Very curly hair

1. Wash and condition hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner

2. Apply a moisturizing styling cream to towel-dried hair

3. Wrap 2-inch sections of hair around large barrel velcro rollers and let dry

4. Remove rollers and smooth out waves with fingers

5. Spray hair with a light hold hair spray
