I'm still on my crusade to find green items where I can, and use fewer -bens, -ethyls, -etics in my beauty routine. That's not as simple as it seems, though. I'm picky about my beauty products, I'm a stickler for stay-put power, and if it smells like hemp, I'm introducing it to the trash can.
Face products are one thing, but I think I may have solved the hair issue. New discovery: Jonathan Green Rootine Products
I love you, Jonathan, whoever you are. This is high-end boutique beauty mixed with down and dirty eco-chic. Perfect for a girl who can't go green if it's not pretty. These formulas are not only organic, but they're vegan. The 100% natural ingredients are free of petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, and silicone.
The Green Rootine includes shampoo, conditioner, and styling cream (attention Jonathan: Let's make hairspray the next priority, wanna?). The scent is somewhere between earthy and lush, the formulas are super-luxe, and using them leaves your hair looking very, "I paid too much for this hairstyle but dammit it's fabulous" - only without the trip to the high-end salon.
Oh, and the manufacturing? That's clean and green, too.
Now about my face....

Good review... I love your writing... especially this part "and if it smells like hemp, I'm introducing it to the trash can. " :) And for the record, I totally agree!
