Metallics are a fun, fresh trend for spring, but their downside is a tendency to look trashy.  (Need proof? See Megan Fox's Golden Globes look.)  An outfit comprised completely of metallic shades will make you look like a hooker extra from a futuristic music video.  Instead, keep in mind that the metallics are there to provide an extra bit of bling and accent the rest of your ensem.  To pull off a sexy sheen without being whispered about, confine the metallics to no more than 1/3 of your total look, including your makeup, and balance your look with blocks of non-metallic color or neutrals to offset the metal tones.
