How did you get your start in the industry?

I made D.I.Y. tee-shirts for a music television show I hosted, started the clothing line, sooki sooki and it garnered the attention of celeb client, kelly osbourne.
 

Who is your dream client and why?

I love Sarah Silverman but girl needs some style help!
 

Without naming names, tell us about your nightmare client.

I had to dress the cast of a competition show involving pre-teens and their stage mothers!! EEEEEK!
 

What's your favorite trend this season?

Plaid! Love the checks on boots, bags and cute dresses. Burberry tops my list of faves.
 

What 3 beauty or fashion mistakes do women commonly make?

Wearing low-waisted jeans, wearing panties with visible panty lines, wearing an undergarment that doesn't fit there for throwing the look of an outfit off.
 

Can you share some of your secrets for looking good on camera?

Water, Sleep and the uber product, Beauty in a Bottle.
 

What are 3 things women can do to update their look on the cheap?

Get frayed hemlines and worn denim and pants stitched up and dry cleaned, get shoes buffed and refreshed, pick up a great V-neck in black, navy and brown or gray: the look goes great with everything from dressed up to dressed down and back again. Plus at stores like H&M, the v-neck sweater will run you about $20 and last a season or three.
 

What's the most surprising thing you've learned in your profession so far?

That everyone, no matter how successful they are, always has to try, work and strive for that next job or client.
 

If you had to choose another profession, what would it be and why?

Honestly, I don't know. I love what I do. A marine biologist?
 

Any words of wisdom for those trying to break into your profession?

Do your research, have focus and go bold with who you are. There is genius and magic in it!!
