Olsen Coffee Table Book
Yesterday I was making my weekly Target run and stumbled upon a coffee table book with Mary-Kate (or Ashley - they look too similar) Olsen on the cover. The opposite twin is on the back cover.
Now, I am not a huge Olsen twins fan. I mean sure they were cute on Full House but some of the stuff they wear is just plain weird! Still the book, called Influence, interested me. I ended up standing in the book aisle for thirty minutes flipping through it.
Influence, not shockingly, is all about the people who have impacted the lives of the twins. It's a 272-page book which is 12 inches by 9 inches and retails for $35. Each influential person has his/her own chapter complete with pictures, sketches and text. Karl Lagerfeld, Diane von Furstenberg and Lauren Hutton are among the listed influences for the twins.
This could be an ideal gift for that hard-to-shop-for fashion diva on your list. The pics alone make the book worth purchasing, or at least flipping through the next time you are in Target.
Yes I got a copy of this book and I was very impressed. I am not a huge fan of the twins myself but that is one fantastic book.
