Pretty Picks From Another Beauty Junkie

One of my favorite things about being a confessed beauty junkie is having, "Because I’m a beauty junkie" as an excuse for why I love peeking in other girls' makeup bags and bathroom cabinets.

Fellow beauty lover and former ELLE staff writer Roopika Malhotra (née Nayar) recently started up her own beauty blog, Beauty Guroo.  Not only did  she dish on pretty treats she can’t live without, but I discovered gorgeous girls think alike: I can’t live without Dove, either.   

Dove Cream Oil Body Wash: There's something about Dove that just makes me feel so clean and pretty. I grew up using the classic bar soap, but eventually graduated to the liquid version. This one is a favorite because it foams up nicely without leaving my skin stripped or filmy. I especially love the Jasmine & Vanilla scent because it's subtle, feminine, and incredibly relaxing.

Kiehl's Crème de Corps Body Creme: Okay, I admit I'm a bit skin obsessed, but I really think having great skin (from head to toe) is paramount to feeling gorgeous! This body lotion is the best I've tried—and believe me when I say that I've tried it all. Its elegant formula is fast-absorbing, super-hydrating, and barely-scented, so it won't compete with perfume. In a word: perfect.

Chanel Pro Lumiere Correcteur: I'm cursed with dark under-eye shadows. No matter how much sleep I get, I just can't get rid of them. At the moment, I'm using this concealer to help camouflage the problem, and so far, so good! I love the pen-brush applicator, which ensures incredibly smooth application. The texture is very silky and blends easily, so I avoid both telltale demarcation lines and cakiness. It's also super-pigmented, so one coat gets the job done (miraculously).
