Did you do heavy drugs or get beat up by a hustler? : Obtain dark, witchy eyes

A few weeks ago I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It had shadow actors and everyone was dressed up (How sad for me that I didn't even have to go further than my actual makeup bag to dress up for the Rocky Horror). Anyhow, since I was a "virgin" and had never seen the show before? I had to line up with a buncha people, get told I look like a cat and then I had to fake an orgasm on stage with a packed theater. Since then, I've taken the cat comment and made damn sure I look like one all the time.

Calling All Sex Kittens!

"One of the most underrated secrets in the beauty industry is color. When used correctly, it can be the equivalent of couture for the face. Just as a well-tailored outfit enhances our figure and draws attention to our best assets, using the right tones on our face can make us appear significantly more beautiful." Kitten Vixen is my makeup soulmate. They came about with a mission to "demistify the cosmetic use of color" and intend to make everyone feel naturally beautiful. They do not test their products on animals and they're eco-friendly (you know we love that). Everything is free from fake-ass scents and colors and you can get it all custom blended. You can buy entire kits that are extra vegan, and if you buy two? You get a third one free. How awesome is that?  Click the Master Class link at the top and get the neatest tricks and tips from color obsessed make up artists (ask Precious first, though, since her eyeshadow tricks officially rule my soul.) My favorite thing? Carrying around a dope lipgloss that has the words Kitten and Vixen on it.

The Blackest of Blacks.

I am obsessed with the whole greasy black raccoon eye look. Remember that post about E.L.F.? Well, I got a sweet duo eyeshadow cream from there that not only covers the black smoked out eye look but it gives it a beautiful gleam. I use it all the time: all I do is sweep the silver along the crease of my eye and then cover the lid in the shimmery black. It's very Beyonce a la the "Get Me Bodied" video. But much more "hole in the wall bar" ready, if ya know what I mean. I polish it all off with a little shimmer powder on the brow bone and love love love it all night long.

My friend Kris gave me her Jane Eye Zing in Clubbing because she didn't like it at all. Thank God for that: she set me on my path to crazy black-eyedom. I prime my lids first with a shimmery white from Rimmel, then sweep a L'oreal jewel-toned purple on the crease of my lid lightly, then I put more onto my entire lid from the inside corner of the eye, all the way to the outside corner. Next I carefully line my eyes with a Rimmel Eye Pencil in Black. Next I sweep the Jane Clubbing eyeshadow from the center of my lid to a little past the outside corner, followed by using a liner brush to line half of the bottom lid lightly with the Jane eyeshadow. I follow this with some hardcore smudging with a q-tip. This look shouldn't be polished. It's meant to be rock n roll, like you never have the time between gigs to take your makeup off so you just keep piling it on. Now, keep in mind that this eyeshadow breaks loose easily, and if you get some on your cheeks accidentally you'll have to completely re-do your face makeup. It can be ridiculous, but so worth it when you see how your eyes stand out. It makes my hazel eyes a bright bright green, and my friend Aundrea's ice blue eyes almost white (P.S. This look isn't for everyone, I was thankfully blessed with HUGE eyes, almost anime-like.  I don't recommend using this look if you have small eyes).

            Sexy and Dangerous

I just think the entire free world should know, I did in fact win the best fake cat-orgasm. I ended up being part of the show. Now, I know this look isn't for everyone, but try it out...you never know, you might feel like a sexy assassin or something.

You're supposed to use it with colors you already have, ya goob.

But as far as the Kitten Vixen goes, in that kit, what the hell is the eyeshadow applicator for? The kit only comes with mascara and eyeliner!

I was just telling my lesbian girlfriend about you and your Rocky Whoreor Picture Hoe incident. You are the definition of slutty makeup, and that's why we love you.

I need to get that ELF cream eyeshadow duo!
That would make a great base for smokey eye looks.

That sounds like an awesome look,
I'll have to try it sometime this week.

I'm too afraid to touch my eyeballs. Of all the things to be afraid of, I know. The last time I sacrificed seeing for beauty was at my prom 18 years ago. I looked fierce, and had a very good excuse to cling to some very attractive senior boys that night.

I don't think any eye looks are made for glasses gals. I usually have contact lenses, but am stuck in glasses this month and hating it. I feel like my own ugly sister.

If you can get contacts, do so.

I wear glasses. But with the look I'll sacrifice my vision and not wear them.

I'm almost afraid to ask what a cat-orgasm looks like or is.

I'm envious of anyone who can pull off the whole smudged/smokey eye thing. I don't think it is a look made for gals who wear glasses.
