At the recent launch party for her new series where she is looking for a best friend (is everyone else rolling their eyes??), my first victim, um, star, is seen from the front with shiny blond wisps coming down from the sides of her updo. She looks pretty! One thing I can say that is complimentary about Paris is that she can rock some hairstyles! She changes it up often and most of the time her hair looks pretty good. From the front, this launch party is one of those times. Now slam on the brakes and check the photo of Paris from the back, where it looks like a she slept on her hair after teasing it with a weed whacker and not conditioning it for over a year. I’m just sayin’.

 

 

I wanted to cry for CC’s hair when I laid eyes on this hideous photograph. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking, “Perhaps this is merely a bad angle and her hair really HAS been brushed for this event.” BUT NO. All the other pics show lank, lackluster, limp-o-matic hair that is crying out for a visit to a salon or maybe even just a plain ol' Alberto VO5 Hot Oil Treatment that you can use at home, hon! I've seen people do more to their hair to walk down the driveway and pick up the newspaper.  When a person has straight hair, it gets tricky when you start wearing it at nipple level or below. Especially if you have fine hair you really need layers to give it a boost. And you need to apply some product. And you need to turn your head upside down when you blow dry to help coax that oomph. Court really truly madly looks like she just rolled out of bed for this one. Not good.

Behold the long wavy locks of Denise Richards (eye roll) and Lauren Conrad (double eye roll). I have to say that they both have stunning hair! And I don’t care what they had to do to make it look like that…it’s worth it! 

 

 

Lastly, I heard a rumor that Rumer Willis got extensions and then took them out and has been sporting this unfortunate wig. Certainly she can visit Ken Paves if she is over her pixie cut and get some decent looking faux hair? Maybe that’s whose hair she was wearing? I have no clue. The point is, the short wig is a hair don’t, in any country on this planet. And probably on Mars, too.
